The holder of this certificate has completed the BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program
The Baltic-American Freedom Foundation alumni have unique access to various events and programs to support their professional development. BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program creates opportunities for BAFF alumni to share their experiences within the alumni network and further develop their leadership, communication, and management skills.
The mentoring period is up to 6 months (for a minimum of 12 hours) – March 2021 – September 2021. The mentees and mentors of the BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program complete 2.5 hours training led by an expert from the US. These training sessions are designed to support the participants and allow them to build on their strategic management and interpersonal skills.
The training covers:
Building virtual/remote relationships
Mentoring phases of the Mentor-Mentee relationship
Interpersonal Skills for High Achieving Mentors (including communication strategies and conflict resolution)
Goal Setting and Mentor Relationship Management
Safety and Boundaries
The participants also receive both written (handbooks) and verbal guidance throughout the 6-month period. Mentors and mentees who successfully complete the program, are awarded the BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program’s Certificate.
