Continuing a longstanding American commitment to the Baltic region, the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation‘s (BAFF) mission is to deepen the ties between and among Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States through programs of education and exchange centering on economic growth and democratic values. 


The Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) alumni have unique access to various events and programs to support their professional development. BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program creates opportunities for BAFF alumni from many different industries, with diverse professional backgrounds and experiences to share and further develop their professional, leadership, communication, and management skills as mentors or mentees.

Duration: The mentoring period is up to 6 months (for a minimum of 12 hours): October 2022 – April 2023.

In addition to 1-on-1 mentoring, the program is enriched by timely and relevant support resources throughout the mentorship:

Orientation at the beginning
• Workshops and content sessions with experts. Online and in-person events in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania
• Gatherings and growing together with other participants of the program and the wider BAFF alumni network
• Mentor and Mentee handbooks which offer helpful tips for the mentorship journey
• Access to learning resources (tests, guides, worksheets, goal-setting template, etc.)
• Opportunity to consult with the Advisory Group of the program
• Assistance during the program by BAFF staff

Mentors and mentees who successfully complete the program, are awarded the BAFF Alumni Mentorship Program’s Certificate.
