LEADERSHIP ACADEMY PRESENTS SEA DOGS PITCH

Today, the Leadership Academy students held presentations on finding solutions to make Portland, Maine’s baseball team, the Sea Dogs, popular. The students not only presented to each other, but was presenting to a panel of Sea Dogs office staff. By providing goals to attracting more viewers, for example with the mascot, The Slugger, they promoted their ideas. A couple of the groups wanted to utilize social media as a mean of promotion for the baseball team with the use of #goseadogs. While others wanted to provide marketing goods as a prize for following their social media platforms. Some suggested a playground for kids to promote families to visit the baseball stadium and watch the games. Not only did they present their ideas and marketing ploys, the students provided financial goals and benefits. Once each presentation was over, the office staff provided questions and feedback. For the Sea Dogs office staff and the students this was an enriching exchange.
